Final WORKING prototype

Image
Here is my final prototype created in Axure, I screen recorded it using quick time on my mac book. The black circles that appear in the video whenever I click the buttons, are not visable when not screen recording so I believe that it is a feature to do with quicktime so that the viewer knows the button has been used.

creating branding photoshop

This video shows myself manipulating the dollar note to be an access pass for my app. I want it to be portrayed in a fun and trendy way. I thought by turn the dollar sign pink and putting a linear darken on it made it really pop, I then coloured over where I wanted the brands name to be GRLZZZ so that it would stand out. Along with the two pink boxes on either side of the retro icon, with “welcome 2 the GRLZZZ club” displayed in white writing and the Chalkduster font so that the text will stand out to the viewer. marketing and design

In terms of marketing when it comes to my own product, I designed a poster/banner that could target my audience through web and in print. The ad could be used on small banners that pop up on social media platforms or even on news/lifestyle websites. The design concept of the ad is the dollar signifies a ticket, which is a pass to access the “GRLZZZ Club” meaning the app. Next to the pass is an IPhone displaying the front page of the app so that people are aware it is a mobile application. The pink colours used help it to stand out and create a girly aesthetic with a fun vibe.

Branding of my own App

When starting to design my branding I wanted the imagery of it to be reflective of the name, a little bit punk and rebellious due to the demographic and the links to empowerment for young girls to use creating a fun platform. I started the branding off in Adobe Colour, looking through all the different shades that I could and wanted to use I then applied this to my work, for example: I thought the pink fire would display a quirky fun style and the old English writing was something I played around with whilst sketching to get an idea of how it would look in once in photoshop, which I was happy with the result. I just uploaded my sketches and then used the polygonal lasso tool to select the sections I needed and then fill coloured them with a solid purple, lastly adding the linear burn to create the transparent effect. For the actual logo I wanted to design something in a 3D effect so used photoshop to help me do so, I created the ‘GRLZZZ’ name in a 3D...
