How to use Moqups
Once I had my app prototype off
to a steady start, I began looking at making a prototype for my homebased web page,
I followed tutorials on a website called Moqups and used their site to create it,
the web page would be strictly for downloading the app, so there wouldn’t be
any actual content apart from the ‘GRLZZZ club pass’ and the link to
downloading it on the app store. The site is very pink and purple based the
bright pinks and white text allow the viewers to notice them. Going forward I would
have incorporated flashing images and GIFs to make the web page more
interactive.
Moqups is a quick, easy way to
create diagrams, mockups and prototypes online and share
them. When you go on
the site it allows you a free trial in which leads to a page with labels pointing
to everything and explaining everything you would need to know. I found it
really easy with this labelled format and didn’t feel overwhelmed with information
but enough to be able to use the site without issues, the layout is very simple
and clean cut making it easy to use. When developing my prototype of the home
page I wanted it to be very straight forward, so opted to use links from Moqups
tool box which allowed me to create a text which would display like a click
link, I done this so that the user would be aware that you can just click the
link and go to the app store to download the featured app.
